GANZO G628
The unusual design is the first thing that catches your eye when you see the Ganzo G628. The closing blade has a black finish in the color of the handle, which brings a bit of brutality to the overall look of the tool. At the same time, the model is not lacking in practicality thanks to the presence of a sharp blade and several functional accessories in the form of a blade and glass breaker on the handle, which make the knife an ideal travel companion.
The blade reaches a length of 89 mm and has a Drop point profile, which is often used in knives for various purposes thanks to its versatility.
The blade is made using 440 series steel, which has a long sharpness endurance and excellent cutting properties. This steel also has good corrosion resistance. However, it should be taken into account that it does not like long term contact with wet and salty environments, so it is important to follow the recommendations for the care of steel tools strictly, so that corrosion spots do not appear on the metal.
The knife structure can be opened in two ways: by pushing on the flipper or on the pin fixed on the left side of the blade. The open blade is secured by a steel Liner-Lock, which prevents the blade from closing uncontrollably.
For power work, the user can place the thumb on the raised thumb rest located on the 2.7-millimeter blade. This increases the comfort of the tool in the broad palm and improves control of the knife.
The handle has an ergonomic, curved shape with a shallow recess for the index finger to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. The main material of the handle is polypropylene (PP). Some elements are also made of aluminum.
The Ganzo G628 weighs 138 g including the clip, which has an atypical position at the center of the knife and is single-position.
