The Ganzo axe is made of 3CR13 steel (modified 440A steel) and the handle is made of polymer materials. The 3CR13 grade steel is stainless steel, so you can use the axe in any weather. The surface is also well protected from contamination when chopping. However, for longer life, it is better to wipe it after use. The axe is painted with black durable paint to prevent sun glare while working. It is a detail, but to some extent it can serve to increase the safety of the user. The width of the axe is only 4.4 cm, but it widens to 8 cm towards the blade. The handle is made of glass fiber reinforced nylon. It is a strong and reliable material that is not susceptible to sudden changes in temperature, soaking and impact. The length of the top is 34,7 cm and the width are 3,5 cm. The handle widens towards the end to prevent accidental slipping out of the hand when chopping wood. In addition, there is a hole at the end of the top for tying e.g. Paracord.
The saw is stored in a hollow top from which it can be easily removed when needed. The total length of the saw is 30 cm, of which 18 cm falls on the saw blade, which is made of the same steel as the axe. The end of the saw is rounded. The bright yellow handle is made of ABS plastic with high strength. Towards the end the handle widens and the saw also has a hole for the Paracord. In addition, the handle has shaping at the blade for a better grip. The third part of the set is a flint that will create a spark for lighting a fire in any weather. A significant advantage of the flint is that it will not break like a lighter or stop working after soaking like a match. The flint is 7cm long and weighs only 11g. Its place is on the protective sheath of the axe. The sheath is made of highly visible yellow plastic and completely covers the axe edge when the axe is not in use. There is a large handle on the sheath for comfortable carrying and a belt clip on the back.
